Run for our members and owned by our members, the CPAA operates as a not-for-profit organisation in the public interest – committed to evolving and improving for the benefit of members, the profession and the public.  

Our knowledgeable and experienced approach allows us to provide outstanding service, support and value for practising accountants. 

Represent

We work proactively on behalf of our members, collaborating with UK government agencies, regulators, lenders, business, employers and other professional accountancy bodies. We engage, inform and influence, ensuring we represent our members’ best interests.

Governance

A Board of Trustees govern the Association, it primarily consists of practising members and the Company Secretary / Operations Manager. This is a team of industry experts with extensive accountancy knowledge and experience. Find out more on our Governance page

Support

We offer a variety of valuable benefits to our members, from essential professional insurances and an array of practical resources that can be used within practices, to a deeply engaging online CPD programme and regular regional industry events

Educate

The Association provides all members with a relevant and comprehensive CPD and training programme, created for and tailored to small accountancy practitioners. We also provide vocational qualifications, specifically designed for those either working in an accountancy practice or aspiring to. Extensive tuition support is given to all students.
