What qualifications do you offer?

We currently offer two qualifications:

CPAA Certificate in Introductory Public Practice Accounting (Level 3)

CPAA Diploma in Public Practice Accountancy and Taxation (Level 4)

 

What are the entry requirements?

There are no entry requirements for the Level 3 qualification although we would recommend that you have GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

For the Level 4 qualification you will need to have completed the Level 3 qualification with us or have an equivalent qualification or relevant experience in accountancy and finance. If you are unsure, please contact us at admin@acpa.org.uk

You should also have a good level of computer literacy as all communication and assessments will be held online.

 

What are the fees?

What is the registration process?

You will need to apply for student membership through the website. You must pay the registration fees and we will confirm your student registration via email.

 

When are the assessments?

Assessments will be held twice a year, in February and September. Dates will be communicated by email to all registered students nearer the time.

 

How are assessments conducted?

All our assessments are conducted online. For more information about the assessment process, click here.

 

How are results issued?

Once each round of assessments have finished, we will review them and then issue results by email within two weeks of the assessment date. Certificates will then be sent out by post.

 

How long do I have to complete the qualification?

You must complete the qualification within five years from registering. If you have not completed the qualification in this time, you will need to re-register and may have to pay additional fees.

 

Do you provide learning material?

All students will be sent PDF copies of our textbooks. If students would like a physical copy of the textbooks, we can send these at a cost of £20.00 per textbook.

 

Do you offer exemptions?

Do I need to complete these qualifications to join CPAA as a member?

No, if you have relevant experience or qualifications already, you may be able to join us as a member. For more information on routes to entry click here.
